  • Call the police, even if the accident is minor.
  • Jot down names and addresses of anyone who may have witnessed the accident. This can prevent disagreement concerning how the accident actually happened.

  • DO jot down details about the accident, the location, and circumstances such as weather conditions and visibility.
  • DO notify your insurance agent about the accident immediately.

Do you have the right to choose my repair shop even if my insurance is paying for the repair?
Yes you have the right to have your car repaired at any shop you chose. Your insurance company is required to pay the reasonable cost to restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition according to the coverage you purchased. Even if your vehicle needs towed, you can still choose your repair shop. This insurance company is responsible for paying for your repairs and may be responsible for paying the tow bill to the shop of your choice.

Do I need Three Estimates?
No your only obligation is to inform the insurance company of the collision repair facility you have chosen to perform he work and the vehicles location for viewing.

How long will it take to repair my car?
The repair process is determined by the extent of damage to your vehicle.
